Fendi Sunglasses
Fendi sunglasses have become almost a status symbol of luxury and style. The whole range of Fendi sunglasses emits a sense of sophistication, often through a spectrum of understated shapes and shades with beautiful detail. The Fendi appeal is strong with both men and women alike, as a pair of Fendi sunglasses often empowers the wearer with a feeing of confidence and inner strength.
Breif History of Fendi
Fendi Sunglasses are a seemingly modern brand but with a rich heritage and long history. Fendi began life in 1925 as a handbag shop and fur workshop, led by Edoardo and Adele Fendi in Via del Plebiscito, Rome. The Fendi brand immediately became associated with high quality products, and throughout the 30's and 40's this reputation swept beyond the boarders of Rome with the expansion of further fur workshops.
In 1946 the five daughters of Edoardo and Adele Fendi joined the family business and brought with them a new wave of energy and ideas. After consideration of how their fashion lines could be improved, the sisters most significant decision was to take on a talented young Parisian designer by the name of Karl Lagerfeld.
It was Karl Lagerfeld who along with the Fendi sistes revolutionised the design and the products of Fendi, as well as designing the Fendi ‘double F' motif that is proudly emblazoned on Fendi products. Still working with Fendi to this day, now creative director Karl Lagerfeld has been involved in the successes such as the ‘Fendi Bag', and the cult accessory the ‘Fendi Baguette'.
